Special terms and conditions for Kivra’s integration service
Valid from 7 June 2021 and onwards.
In case of any inconsistencies between the Swedish and the English version of these "Special terms and conditions for Kivra’s integration service", the Swedish version shall take precedence.
1. General
These special terms and conditions apply when Kivra Sverige AB, reg. no. 556917–3544, or another company within the same group as Kivra Sverige AB (“Kivra”) provides limited liability companies, partnerships, limited partnerships and cooperative associations (including co-operative housing associations) (“Users”) opportunity for you as an existing Business User at Kivra (the "User"/"You") to be able to integrate Your digital business mailbox with other services provided by third parties through a special function and service in Kivra (the "Integration Service") and together with the General Terms and Conditions for the Service constitute an agreement (the "Agreement") that applies between Kivra and the User when Kivra provides the Integration Service to a User.
All definitions contained in the General Terms and Conditions for the Service shall, unless otherwise stated in these special terms and conditions, have the same meaning in these special terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between these special terms and conditions and the General Terms and Conditions for the Service, the provisions of these special terms and conditions shall always take precedence. The Integration Service is an Additional Service, as defined in the General Terms and Conditions for the Service. The User voluntarily chooses whether the Integration Service is to be added to the Service or not.
2. Description of the Integration Service
The Integration Service enables the User to connect its digital business mailbox to other services provided by third parties ("Partners").
Through an integration (“API”), the User can provide the Partner with access to the User's digital business mailbox and transfer the content to the services provided by the Partner.
3. Access and authorization
In order to access the Integration Service, the User must accept the Agreement including these special terms and conditions. The Agreement applies between the User and Kivra when the User activates the Integration Service.
Company signatories and business users with handling rights are authorized to activate and manage the settings in the Integration Service for a User. In the same way, company signatories and business users with handling rights can choose to terminate the Integration Service whenever they wish.
4. Managing access for Partners
The User chooses which Partner or Partners are to be given access to the User's digital business mailbox through settings in the Integration Service.
The Integration Service starts immediately when the User activates the integration to a specific Partner and the Partner thereby gains access to the User's digital business mailbox.
By activating the Integration Service, the User gives the Partner access to all information contained in the business mailbox and what is sent to the User's business mailbox during the time the integration is active. It is not possible to restrict access to certain content in the business mailbox.
Through the Integration Service, the Partner may also provide status information to the User, for example that certain mail has been handled by the Partner in the service provided by the Partner.
The User can at any time choose to terminate the integration with a specific Partner. The partner then loses direct access to the User's digital business mailbox.
5. Prices and fees
Kivra does not charge any fees to the User for using the Integration Service.
Any fees that the Partner charges for its services where the Integration Service is used are regulated between the User and the Partner.
6. Responsibilities of the User
The User is responsible for the User's right to give the Partner access to the contents of the digital business mailbox.
The User is responsible for entering into an agreement with the Partner on how the information that the Partner receives via the Integration Service in Kivra is handled in the services provided by the Partner, including the processing of any personal data that the handling may entail.
The User certifies that it will not use the Integration Service for illegal purposes, to interfere with the Integration Service or to store/disseminate content that that infringes third-party rights or that may be perceived as offensive or disorderly, such as representations with hateful, threatening or pornographic content or that call for violent actions or agitation against an ethnic or national group.
7. Responsibilities of Kivra
Kivra is responsible for regulating the Partner's access to the API through agreements.
Kivra has no responsibility for how information shared outside Kivra is handled by the Partner.
Kivra does not make any commitments or guarantees regarding the Integration Service's quality, security, reliability, availability or performance. Regardless of what is otherwise stated in the Agreement or any descriptions of the Integration Service's function, the Sender can not expect the Integration Service to be free from errors, free from security problems, updated or a suitable data source for the Partner's products or services that the User intends to use. For example, Kivra cannot guarantee that documents in Your digital business mailbox are always available through the Partner's services.
The User uses the Integration Service at the User’s own risk, and Kivra is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages that arise for You due to the fact that You have used, or have not been able to use, the Integration Service.
8. Termination of the Integration Service
Kivra has the right to terminate the Integration Service for a User, in whole or in part, and to terminate the agreement for the User's use of Kivra's Services with immediate effect if the User has breached the General Terms and Conditions, these special terms and conditions, instructions or agreements that apply to the Integration Service or for Kivra's Services in general. In case of criminal actions, Kivra will hand the case over to the police.
9. Changes in terms
Kivra reserves the right at any time to change and/or make additions to these terms and conditions.
Changes in terms must be notified to Users in a manner decided by Kivra no later than one (1) month before the change takes effect. However, Kivra always has the right to immediately make changes and additions that are required by law, regulation or official decisions.
